How can you be successful, both professionally and privately?<\/p>

It’s a good question, and the answer is actually quite simple: be authentic, kind, and consistent.<\/p>

That doesn’t sound difficult, but putting it into practice often involves considerable hurdles that need to be overcome:<\/p>

You can’t always say \u201cyes.\u201d And that’s where the first challenge comes in: \u201cNo\u201d is often the only correct answer. And often you don’t have to justify it; it’s a decision.<\/p>

Once we have weighed up what is right and found our answer, we have to implement it and stick to it consistently as long as the situation does not change. Of course, we don’t want to hurt anyone, but\u2014as in parenting\u2014it is often better for the other person or people to protect themselves. And if we know that, we should act accordingly!<\/p>

In doing so, we must never forget that our decision is the right one when viewed holistically. And, of course, there may be some fierce headwinds along the way. But we have to endure them. It’s not easy, but it’s the right thing to do.<\/p>

How we give answers and how we package them must suit us. Some people are \u2018tough nuts\u2019 and everyone knows them that way. That makes it easy. It’s more difficult for people who always like to say \u2018yes\u2019 just to stay in their bubble of harmony. Of course, that doesn’t always make sense when you know that something else would be better. So be authentic and package your answers and your attitude in a way that suits you.<\/p>

And now consistency comes into play again: situations can change. Then it is of course justified to rethink your own decisions. If they don’t change, it means sticking to your guns. Some people will simply stick to their decision, others will need reasons. It depends on your personality and the personality of the other person, but the important thing here is to stick to your guns.<\/p>

Empathetic people naturally find it easier to assess others, but there are many signs that even less empathetic people can \u201cread,\u201d and yes, you can train yourself to do so.<\/p>

Basically, it’s simple, but achieving an authentic appearance with warm-hearted actions and consistent implementation is not easy for either the \u2018tough guy\u2019 or the \u2018warm-seeking lover of harmony\u2019. Everyone has their own challenges in different areas. But all three factors are equally important and none should be placed above the others.<\/p>

This article is intended to lay the foundation that you can influence yourself and on which success is always built. Of course, this also applies to your career and projects.
